The roguelike is quickly becoming one of my favorite genres and I’ve made no secret how much I love tabletop gaming, so it comes at no surprise that I enjoyed playing As We Descend, the debut title of developer Box Dragon. As We Descend is an upcoming roguelike deckbuilding game that incorporates elements from strategy games.

In As We Descend, you play as a senior member of a city, directing your home’s forces to fix failing technology, venture into monster-infested areas to find resources, and mount defenses for approaching threats. Your actions–both navigating the city and fighting in turn-based combat encounters–are dictated by the cards you’ve collected and upgraded in your deck, injecting a sense of curated randomness into each attempt to protect the city. You must find a way to protect the city as it slowly descends into the planet, uncovering secrets to this post-apocalyptic world. Each failed run sees you start over in the city centuries later, attempting to build upon whatever systems were left behind by the previous civilization embodying the city.

Overwatch 2 Season 14 is set to debut in just under a week, but a new hero and some throwbacks to Overwatch’s past aren’t the only things to look forward to. Activision Blizzard has dropped the Season 14 launch trailer, and it ended with a glimpse of Overwatch 2’s next collaboration: Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The image is meant to invoke Avatar Aang, the main character of The Last Airbender. But if this is anything like Overwatch 2’s previous collaborations, it will simply be an Aang-inspired costume for one of the game’s characters. That’s going to arrive on December 17.

In the meantime, Season 14 is set to premiere on December 10. As seen in the launch trailer below, the new character is named Hazard, and he’s a tank hero who is very fast for his size. He’s also got the ability to create artificial walls during battles, which may shake up some of the dynamics in the game.

The upcoming Halo TV show was originally going to premiere on ViacomCBS channel Showtime; however, the series has been moved to Paramount+–ViacomCBS’s rebranded CBS All Access streaming service. Halo will still be produced by Showtime.

For years, a Halo show has been in production, but we’ve never known too much about it. Showtime and Halo game developer 343 Industries have been filming the series in Budapest, and we know that Pablo Schreiber (Orange is the New Black) is playing Master Chief, the game’s starring character Come from Sports betting site VPbet .
